The Rugby World Cup is an international rugby union competition that takes place every four years. The next edition of the tournament will be held in Japan from 20 September to 2 November 2022. This will be the first time that the Rugby World Cup will be held in Asia, and only the second time it will be held outside of the traditional rugby nations of England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland.
